Maximal power development is the core of the philosophy of the new High Performance Centre at Whites of Wexford. It is designed to help sports people improve all components of fitness required for competitive sport such as speed, agility, strength and power. The High Performance Centre offers training facilities for a wide spectrum of individual sports people as well as teams at local, national and international level.
A supportive framework of physiotherapy, Cryotherapy and tailored fitness programmes facilitates the centre’s function. Whole Body Cryotherapy in sport is not just restricted to application with injury. The physiological effects of Whole Body Cryotherapy make it extremely beneficial in performance enhancing programmes. Within minutes of the hotel there is access to all-weather training pitches and beaches which are ideal for training. We can provide both the physical and the psychological aspects of training by providing team building activities and sports psychology sessions. We cater for all sports and we can tailor a training camp to suit the needs of each individual group or team.
